FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS A PDI? – POST DELIVERY INSPECTION
This is typically done by the home owner and is completed once the home has arrived and the services (power, water, sewer, & gas) have been connected. Once all services are connected it is best to give the home 7-10 days to warm up before doing the inspection.

HOW DO I KNOW WHERE THE CONNECTIONS ARE UNDER THE HOME?

There are 2 way of figuring this out. The first is on the foundation drawing; on the drawing you will see labels indicating the “Drops” that will be measurements to show the location.

The second way to find the drop is on the under side of the home there will be flaps of tape hanging from the belly bag indicating the drop. Use both the drawing and tape flaps to ensure all the drops have been captured before the services are turned on.

WHAT IS A BELLY BAG/BELLY TARP?

The belly bag holds the insulation under the home. When connecting the services please be mindful that the bag is holding the insulation in and only open up a small hole to minimize the loss of insulation. Once the connection or repair is completed, reinstall insulation and tape up the belly bag to prevent insulation loss and critters from find their way in.
